Are husbands more stressful than kids?

i don't know properly because i'm not married,as far as i know my bf never keep stress on me and even the kids i have seen r not streessul.very nice post

At least kids you can punish or ground if they misbehave. You can assign them chores or what have you. A man in the house you can't. You ask them nicely and half the time they ignore you. So over all I'd say the husband is the more stress.

Haha, well I'm not married yet, but you know what? Sometimes it feels like my boyfriend is a child lol...so I wouldn't doubt that they are more stressful than kids are.

Good point, I guess so too. I love my hubby but I am relieved when he leaves for work. Its just one less job to do. I just hope he never reads this. when he is around everything gets delayed as we spend more time talking to eachother than working so I welcome Mondays when everything is back to routine.

Well I am a bit biased as I'm divorced... very happily I might add, and I have to answer.... HELL YES!!!! lol Really, most husbands tend to be more stressful because I think we expect so much of them because they're supposed to be the adults in the family and not the children. Unfortunately they usually missed that memo! lol

I agree with you totally. you expect to get stressed with kids cause they cant always tell you whats going on with them but a man he should be able to express himself.

Achyuta, first I will get married, experience it then only I will comment your topic. It is not proper to comment anything without having personal experience. But kids are my friend, my observation is "they are not much stressful" they keep away us from stress.

Sometimes I think Husbands can be more stressful than kids in the since us women wait on them so much that they begin to expect it. Husbands can be even more difficult than kids when they are ill too cause they want to be pampered. I think it all depends on how much you do for them before you are married, it all determines the extent of what they think they deserve. God knows when the women of the house are ill everything is still expected.

i think its depends on the situations. and the state of mind we have that time.

as a kid i used to thought that we are more stressful than our parents, because i couldn't understand their behavior. but now as an adult person i do believe that both husbands and kids are in stress.(though i am not married till now)

Definitely Children. The more children you have the more problems you have to deal with. There are so many needs and wants from children that you have to contend with and these must come first before mr hubby. Mr hubby will always be there for you but when the children have flown the nest more stress will come when they someone else!
