My Heart Hurts for His Kids

I can't help it my heart hurts for his kids, all three of them, of course I miss him too, but this is there first Christmas without him, and our family believed in Celebrating Christmas and family. He was fifty six, not very old in my opinion his oldest daughter was born when I was about 11, I babysat her on occasion, and was always taken a back by her intelligence. I probably have more memories of her than she does of me, she was so young, but we keep in contact and she has my number. I wanted her to know she could talk to me, I could share some memories of her Father. My brother is actually named after Sean, spelled the exact same way, and everything. I have vague memories of long ago celebrations, and stronger memories too, there was another time we almost lost him, the same year we learned two other cousins had Muscular Dystrophy, he was so sick, that when we demanded he go to the hospital, his appendix had nearly burst, we were all so scared, especially his daughter. He'd been so concerned about the others he had tried to hide his own pain, but Nonna knew. And then of course the happy memories, Christmas, birthday parties, Rock Climbing when we were kids, there stripping away the quary now and that makes me a bit nostalgic. Of course I miss my Aunt too, she was good to me even if we didn't always see eye to eye, I loved her and I know she loved me too
