I hope everyone had a great holiday. I had a huge dinner and got several presents. My mom cooked abodo chicken, fried chicken, pot roast, white rice and egg rolls. My aunt Jen also cooked enchiladas with Spanish rice. The first thing I got was a necklace from my uncle Jon The second thing I got was a $25 gift card which I’ve exchanged for cash on cash app. Both of my cousins also sent me $20 on cash app. I got a Carebear stuffed animal from my cousin Nani. Although Christmas isn’t about presents , I hope you guys had a face of joy when you have opened them.

Seems to have been about presents for you, and money at that.

How would you know if I’m even a Christian? I just said it isn’t all about presents although I thought we were going to do something else . Plus what to expect when families aren’t always meant to be your family?

One wee line about Christmas not being about presents but how many times did you mention gifts you got or money you got.

@JimBo452020 not everyone check their old posts all the time. I’ve mentioned gifts because if I can’t look forward to my family being nice most of the time I might as well look forward to something else

I didn't get anything, but then my husband and I really don't exchange gifts. We're just happy he had Christmas eve off (a first) and we were able to have our holiday dinner as we planned. All be it a little later than we hoped for.
