Oscar winning director Satyajit Ray wrote Detective story titled Chinnomastar Abhishap on the backdrop of Rajrappa temple. The fiction detective feluda created by Satyajit Ray solved a murder mystery in Hazaribag. The Rajrappa temple has the idol of Goddess Chinnomasta which is considered a goddess of power without head. Thousands of devotees assemble on saturdays to offer puja as their is lot of faith on goddess. It is situated in Ramgarh district where many collieries are there and it is in the state of Jharkhand in India.
