How many of you like to listen to audio books or podcasts?

I have started listening to two audiobooks "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and "Ikagai". If you are into the real estates business or planning to buy a property then 1st book can be very beneficial for you. Ikagai is more about living a long and healthy life. It is influenced by some Japanese communities. Both the books are good as I have heard their summary. Ikagai I have listened once but was skipping in between. Now I will listen to both the books properly. Anyone here who loves listening to audiobooks or heard about these books? Autobooks are my only real option, if we're talking reading in general. However, I don't read enough to make it worth it.

Before the Internet, I hated talk radio, and still do. So I rarely listen to podcasts. But once in a while, if the subject is enticing enough, I might tune in for an episode or two. And, I am not a fan of audiobooks either. I majored in English language and literature and have yet to meet another English language and literature major who likes the (audiobook) format. Yet, I am legally blind now and rarely watch the TV when I have it on. But there is a difference between listening to a program on TV and listening to an audiobook. To me, listening to a drama or sitcom on TV is akin to listening to a pre-TV radio show. But for some reason, my brain does not process the presentation of audiobooks the same way.

I like to read books in print. I've never listened to an audiobook.
