Noisy Dog.

Growing up my family had cats, dogs, birds, fish and rabbits. I'm sure we've had more animals, but those are the ones I remember off-hand. I got used to the dogs barking at anything and everything that moved. My favorite phrase was 'shut up' when they got on my nerves.
Fast forward to a few days ago. When we moved into this neighborhood 5 years ago, we discovered it was far quieter than apartment living, where wasls were often paper-thin.
But... a few days ago... I started to hear a dog. Sure, there are a few in the neighborhood, but they are mostly quiet. But, this dog is loud. And, what's worse, is while I don't hear it constantly... it's present. It's not always fun. When I'm in the living room, especially in the middle of the night, I can hear it. I want to be like those loons on t.v. who yell shut up to the wind, hoping the dog hears and obeys.
But I'm not that kind of loon.

I wish those neighbors luck, and hope the children can be helpful.

@kaylachan The oldest son will be the one to take care of the puppy as he is in junior high school. The other 2 kids looks to be around 3 and 2.

It was a more common annoyance when we lived in apartments, and even now, it's not near as bad. Just recently.... barking at four in the morning... ugh...

My grandmother's great-nephew was in the Marines and needed someone to watch his poodle while out on deployment. So, he asked Gram, and she agreed. That dog barked at everything.
My son was learning how to talk back then. And, the phrase he heard most was, "Shut up, Jake." So, one of his first complete sentences was, "Sah up, Take."

I suppose if you can find out who owns the dog and where they live you can perhaps go talk to the neighbors, I know it can be very annoying hearing a barking dog constantly,
