Lots of snow near Lake tahoe

Lake Tahoe has gotten an unexpected windfall of snow. In contrast to the previous drought and wildfires, now there is so much snow only essential travel is permitted. People have been stuck in traffic for hours. Gas stations have run out of gas and grocery stores are short on supplies. Power may not be restored until after the new year. On the news tney said dont travel to Tahoe right now.It is not recommended to travel there right now.

I have a buddy of mine who lives there, and he says they are all rejoicing at so much snow because it means they won’t be in extreme drought conditions next year.

That is a good thing, but it may not be as fun as they expected in the short run . Does your buddy have heat?

@Aquitaine24 hopefully they can find a spot to build a fire where there is a safe way smoke can escape until they are rescued.

That's a lot of snow. Here the weather is cool no need to turn on the aircon. Hope people there won't have a hard time because of the snow
