Hi there everyone ! I was a bit busy these days because of some errands for the coming holiday and New Year simple celebration. It has always been our practice to clean the house or parts of the house everyday.
But elders in our family has this belief only for New Year. This is what my elders say before New Year comes: We must fill all containers in the kitchen , cooking oil, rice, condiments containers so that we wont ran out of supply the whole next year, We should clean parts of the house for a healthy new year to come .
Those are just superstitious beliefs of our elders and I think there is nothing wrong in doing those because at one point some made sense . The picture shows the window screens in our kitchen, I cleaned them all up yesterday after lunch .I scrubbed them one by one and out of the window frame , now its so clean and tidy.
Before I get busy with New Year celebration , Advance Happy New Year everyone!! Stay safe everybody!!
And, a follow up question , Do you have beliefs too? To become lucky this coming New Year?

@iKONICNoona Ours is a mixed of the traditional and with mixup with the popular Chinese belief as well. But I guess no one can really practice every one of it and none if proven to be true and factual and true anyways.

Oh that's interesting . One of our practice here is to collect 12 types of round fruits before New Years day comes .That is to be abundant all year round.

Well, there is nothing wrong with what they say. Well, you can say it as a belief or habit, that if I am alone in the house and I have to go somewhere and lock the door, before that I check the stove and make sure that it is turned off. Happy new year too.
