As I got older had my kids and they all grew up. I thought it was time to relax! WRONG! Do you ever feel like you will fully get to relax? What are your feelings on this?

I have a 14 year old with Autism..so relaxing was never in my future...however..it is my 23 year old..that gives me the most gray hairs...last week she was rear ended by another car..a year after nearly losing her life to a drunk driver..do you think I am relaxed??? You never stop worrying because you never stop being a parent!!!

That is a good subject. I am 49 now and my youngest is now twenty and still living at home I thought by now I would have had all my time spent and they would all be gone, boy did that turn out to be a laugh. Kids never leave you once you have them.
Think about it how old were you when you left your parents alone?
Me? Well now I am taking care of my mom, so I don't believe we ever realy have time for ourselves in this life.
Maybe this life was ment for outhers and not for us.

I guess you.. should never have had kids then. I kid!
I think.. the thing about life is this: you have to make time to relax because time to relax won't show up on its own :)
Even if you find 30 minutes a day to just be, it'll make a lot of difference.

Sometimes I think we women will never get to relax! There's always something that needs to be done. I'm a grandma now, and I am still just as busy as when my girls were little! I just spent years 'parenting the parents' through their elder years. So, even though I'm still busy, it's not quite as busy as it once was...but relax, I'm still waiting for it, lol!
