So so much misinformation.
Much of what you see online is inaccurate. Yes, even here at MyLot.
Do you think all that you post here would survive intact after scrutiny from neutral fact checking?
I see a handful of members that post bs nearly every day or several times a week.
Because members are encouraged to avoid conflict, do you think independent fact checkers would be a good idea?
To help stop mis and disinformation, it would benefit the group as a whole and hold accountable, those spreading fake or misleading posts.
The major SM platforms have adopted it.
Would you be in favor of implementing this to rid MyLot of falsehoods in discussions or should members be allowed to post opinion as fact whether or not it's true?

I don't think I want fact checkers in myLot. Too many fact checkers are banning opinions, not facts.

Well said.
I believe that fact checkers need fact checking most often.
I also believe that people spreading inaccurate information is harmful too.
I think everyone owes it to themselves to find out for themselves using as many sources as possible.

The main reason I no longer use FB or Twitter.
Biased fact checking is worse than no fact checking.
I grew up in a time when we were encouraged to find out for yourself.
Now, information is spoon fed.
And people just swallow it whole never questioning it's accuracy.
News reporting has been lost to opinionated story telling.
Journalists and Journalism no longer exist in MSM.

They dont care if it is fact or not, or they indeed believe all the lies.
Either way, they are hungry for those myLot quarter of a cent they may earn.
