pro-player for american football walks out in middle of game

January 4, 2022 12:30am CST
Antonio Brown of the Tampa Bay buccaneers in the middle of the game just threw away his gear to the crowd and walked/ran out of the stadium in the middle of a game. it was the craziest thing I've seen! he has had problems before and people are quick to bash him on the net but looking at the videos and the reaction of his teammates I can't help but think there is more to this than him being totally at fault. Does anyone know more about this story? What do you think happened? Is he completely to blame for his behavior?

I just found this out, maybe there is a problem in the team?

it's either the team is super respectful all around or they are having some problems This guy has been known to have a lot of issues like being charged with crimes and being kicked out (?) of his previous teams but his coach and teammates are saying it's a difficult situation for everyone and not even totally blaming him for his walk-out so maybe there is more to this than what we know right now

@NatsuYeung Problems with one player sometimes make it difficult for the team, and the audience can't just assume..

@Adaliaro yes, people are always quick to judge especially if the person has made mistakes in the past...

I've found conflicting reports on the incidents prior to his walking out during game play. He was already on his last chance due to his submission of a fake Covid vaccination report earlier this season. His behavior has always bordered on pre-schooler but its possible mental health issues are increasing. The common theory is that he said he had hurt his ankle but team doctors cleared him to play. He refused to take the field. He was told he'd be released if he didn't suit up and play. He chose to throw a tantrum instead. If it turns out he really had an ankle injury, the team would pay dearly. But. If it was just another AB incident in a colorful career, his TB days are numbered. He hasn't been released yet so I asume that, if the story is true, medical professionals are examining him for the team. Physically and mentally.

@NatsuYeung He may be done in the NFL. Yes several team officials have said he wouldn't be a part of the Bucs but he hasn't yet been released. It's always been the custom in sports that if you don't play when told to, you get demoted or lose your spot on the roster. They aren't players, they're property. Interchangable pieces of equipment. If you don't work properly or squeak when in use, you're easily replaced. People stand in lines to see machine parts bash their heads in.

probably--- mental health issues, and knowing competitive sports in the USA I wouldn't be surprised if he was "forced" to play. remember simone biles? I did read somewhere that their coach said AB would not be part of the buccaneers anymore? Given his reputation I don't know where he can go at this point. Will definitely be following this story!

There has to be a huge reason for that. I can't really give an opinion on this matter. For sure, you can't just walk out in the middle of the game that you seriously practiced. Have a nice day.

it looked like there was an argument before the whole walkout happened- one of his teammates was even talking to him...
