Lakewood Police Officer praised for her act of bravery stopping a shooter

Normally I did my best to present acts of heroism like a law enforcement officer saving the life of someone who needs their help. However in this case the story is based on the act of bravery to rubout a shooter who rubbed out five persons in Lakewood and Denver Colorado since the shootings were related. Lakewood Police Officer Ashley Ferris is the police officer that acted in self defense after the shooter who had killed five persons attempted to end her life on Monday evening. Officer Ferris who was shot in the stomach by the shooter is currently recovering in a hospital in Colorado. Officer Ferris who is a graduate of Maryville College is being praised by her former school teachers as a bright student who made people around her better persons through her example of being a positive person. I am hoping that Officer Ferris makes a speedy recovery from her wounds since she is an example of what a good law enforcement officer that cares for members of her community. As the old saying goes "I cannot win them all" in terms of sharing good news stories everyday but will do my best to share stories of heroism.
