Second day back at work and a new co-worker

That worked out pretty good. Went to work this morning via the bus, and maybe--half an hour after I got to work (?) the "new girl" showed up. She was a nice young lady--and like me at first, she got "stalked" by a couple of the kids (or, the term I used, "flirted with"). Of course, also like me, kids tried to take advantage of (get away with things they knew they weren't supposed to do) her, too. We had a couple more kids today than we had yesterday. My boss said that one parent still hasn't called her about the results of her family's covid tests, and I forget what she said about the twins' parents as far as contacting her. Anyway, the day went pretty well--at one point it started raining pretty hard, and my new co-worker offered me a ride home, even though her shift ended an hour after mine. So, I "hung out" for an extra hour. Of course, it stopped raining during that time, but the next time it's not raining I'll just go. I took Angel for a walk and fed her, though she didn't seem to feel like eating (it was kind of early). I want to do at least three "chores" before I start "playing" (aka, working on projects or whatever) --so I'd better get to that. I hope that your day/evening/etc. has gone well in your part of myLot land, and I will "see" you all later!
