Cases on the Rise!! Book Fair Cancelled and Curb on International Kite Festival!!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. Covid cases have rised on a huge scale in my city. New 630 Covid cases have been registered here and 54 school children being infected too.
Due to this sudden spike in cases, the Surat Municipal Corporation has cancelled the Book Fair and Horticulture Fair which takes place every year in January.
The International Kite Festival Event is curbed as they are allowing around 400 people to come on Tapi Riverfront to fly kites on 9th January.
Kite Festival is an event where people compete against each other for flying kites and cutting others kites. It feels very vibrant. As lot of colourful kites are seen in the sky.
I just hope and pray that people act responsible and maintain social distancing by wearing masks.

Yes but it's better to be safe then sorry dear. This virus is spreading fast so it's best that such events are cancelled

I agree but what to do if authorities are allowing. I just hope people act responsibly

After crowding at new year, Covid cases have spiked in Kolkata and surrounding districts. Unfortunately, Ganga Sagar Mela at the seaside could not be stopped. Visiters from far away places in northern India are gathering there. It is possibly going to be a mammoth spreader.
