The stepdaughter of Florida resident Ricca Soto who was involved in a serious auto accident while driving on the Suncoast Highway in Florida two days before New Year's Eve just after midnight is grateful that the deputies of the Pasco County Sheriff's Office came to rescue Ricca who was trapped inside of her auto when she crashed head on with another auto while Ricca was driving on the wrong side of the highway due to a medical condition that affected her ability to drive safely just after midnight. Richard Brewster who was driving on the highway assisted the deputies to inform them that Ricca was inside the burning auto and she needed them to get her out of the burning auto before she would have passed away from her injuries after someone at the accident scene called 911 to inform them of what happened. The Pasco County deputies had to use brute force to get Ricca out of the burning auto before it would have exploded after the use of fire extinguishers failed to put out the flames. Both Ricca and the driver of the other auto that were involved in the head on collision suffered injuries but they are expected to make a recovery while they are spending time in a local hospital. Elizabeth Soto who is the stepdaughter of Ricca is grateful that the deputies risked their lives to save her stepmom who would have died had they not gotten her out of the burning auto in time. One reason that the deputies are heroes is that it takes a lot of courage to get a driver who is trapped inside of a burning auto and save their lives since they did not have firefighting uniforms on at the time of the accident.
