Cannot sleep at night

Can anyone tell me how am i supposed to sleep at night when my mind is still awake and alert? could hear the crickets chirping, the wind blowing, footsteps eventhough the windows and door are closed. have to confess that i am facing pressure the past one week from work. Hence i could not sleep a wink, i closed my eyes off the lights but my brain is still running. Do i have to depend on sleeping pills ? Tried warm milk, calming tea but din not work

Try to calm your mind. Don't stress, and imagine you are in a quiet place. Or read a book while lying down, so that later you will fall asleep and fall asleep.

I read when I can't sleep, or watch a movie. These could lull you to sleep. Taking pills can help, but it could become a habit. You may want to try natural methods first, and don't exercise before you go to bed. Banana with your warm milk could help too. Hope you can find your own way of falling asleep. Good luck.
