National Youth Day is Today in India!!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. Today, it's "National Youth Day" in India is also celebrated as "Vivekananda Jayanti" as today 12th Jan is birthday of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984, the government of India declared this day and since 1985 this day is celebrated in India every year. The Government of India was quoted as saying "This day is celebrated as the philosophy of Swamiji and the ideals for which he lived and worked could be a great source of inspiration for Indian youth." Every year, in schools and colleges on this day various activities takes place like Speeches, Music Festivals, Youth Conventions, Seminars, Yogasanas, Presentations, Competition in Essay writing, recitations and sports take place. Swami Vivekananda had done some remarkable work for the society and he will always be remembered for the same. I thought to share this information here. Have a great day. Take care!!!
