Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. Today is the festival of Lohri which is celebrated by the Sikh community in India especially in Punjab, Delhi and Haryana Region. The crops are harvested in winters especially Sugarcane, Jaggery, Corn etc thus to celebrate the harvest, lohri festival was found. The Sikh people light bonfire on this day. They wear traditional costumes and perform traditional dance named "Bhangra". They eat traditional food items like Sugarcane, Jaggery, Makki ki roti aur sarson da saag meaning Corn Indian Flat bread and Spinach vegetable, Radish. They also eat Gajak and nuts.
