The Luncheon Was Great

Yesterday I got treated to a delicious meal, and was given little gifts, all the teachers were an appreciation for all that we do! I had some delicious peppermint tea, and theb Suzanne insisted on making sure I ate lol, so there was salad, a sandwich and a scone, most of it came home because I tend to eat smaller portions, always have. The food was so good, but like I said I eat smaller portions throughout the day, instead of large meals. We talked about the Life Scans, back ground checks, mandated reporting, and I brought up the need for lists of each child's allergies. Pastor Keith was there too, Karla of course and Little Travis whose growing like a weed! The girls were in school! I got home to an email for the Deacons and prayer warriors requesting prayers because we have more members out with Covid, so I'm not sure what Sunday is going to be like because one of those ladies is like the head of everything lol! Leslie is like the energizer bunny. thankfully everyone who tested positive is vaccinated so hopefully milder cases! Due to the positive Covid Cases I maybe flying solo as a Sunday School teacher if I only have the Pastor's girls, otherwise we will see if anyone else can help, if it's just the Pastor's kiddos I can teach alone, because they signed off for that, though I prefer having back up, I don't mind doing it, when we are in a bind, like half the alternative teachers out with Covid.
