The peas plantations are in vast lands in Bardhaman.

Bardhaman in West Bengal is the most fertile district in the state. There are vast lands of pea plantations. Peas are eaten as vegetables in Bengal and are called korai suti. Even kachoris are made out of peas. By the month of February the young plants will give the products.

thanks Rasma peas are grown in bulk. They are exported to Nepal Bhutan Sri Lanka and neighbours of India
