Cedar Rapids is a comedy that stars Ed Helms, John C Reilly, anne Heche and Sigourney Weaver. I stumbled across this movie either at Dollar Tree, or the thrift store a couple years ago. I got it because it has Ed Helms in it, and duh. Ed Helms. Lol. The basic premise of the movie is that Ed Helms plays a stick in the mud, by the book insurance agent who gets sent to a national conference to represent his firm. As you would expect hilarity ensues. He gets drunk with Anne Heche's character and thinks escalate from there quickly. John C. Reilly is probably my least favorite part of this movie but that's because he plays the same character that he has in every single movie ever. The loud, obnoxious , wanna be frat boy. If you like silly, somewhat stupid comedies then this is probably right up your alley. There are a couple "heartwarming" moments, but overall there are no real lessons or themes to this movie, other than possibly be yourself. If I had to rate it, I would give it a 3/5.
