Phew. The day didn't go badly, but my boss said that she wanted to get into more "educational" things again, and had the new girl do most of what she asked. It was like throwing someone into the deep end of the pool and saying, "Okay, learn how to swim." My boss spent most of the day directing my newer co-worker, and didn't say a whole lot to me. I guess she wanted to give her the "ropes", though I honestly don't remember her telling me some of the things she told the new girl. Whatever. It's possible she did--but..? Anyway, boss said that we would have yet another child starting soon--a 14-month-old, I believe she said. Didn't recall her saying they'd start tomorrow or--? I walked home the roughly ten blocks from work. I need to get used to that again. When I got home, I took Angel for a walk and of course, she wanted to go farther than I did. Now, aside from going to get the mail in a while, I am going to just sit and figure out what to have for dinner--not to mention feed Angel. I hope all is well with you in your part of myLot land !

Yes, first time back to work in a little over a week. I'll have to get used to it all again.

Sounds like a long day. Why get used to the ten-block walk?

Because I haven't walked it in a week. Plus, when I get off of work, the bus has just left the nearest stop, so it's either stand at the bus stop for an hour, or walk home in 40-45 minutes.

You deserve "sitting" after all that walking.
