I needed a Finger-Longer

I went to Walgreens to pick up my statin. The staff was just ignoring the drive-thru I think, I mean the car in front of me just gave up and drove away. So, I'm at the window and I see one of those mirror things that they can see out, but it allows me to see in. After waiting a bit I wanted to push the button. I needed a Fing-Longer... However, it hasn't been invented yet, so I went with what I had - a reacher - https://www.healthproductsforyou.com/p-reacher.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=surfaces&utm_campaign=shopping%20feed&utm_content=free%20google%20shopping%20clicks&gclid=CjwKCAiA55mPBhBOEiwANmzoQo134qBtsteCJYtiLUKpaf36CFvHhTE3sJAuZUxqlxsKk8HGqq1Q-hoCLc0QAvD_BwE Sorry about the HUGE link there. Got the pharmacist's attention and I got my meds.

I'm glad you still got your meds, even if the staff were otherwise distracted. I've had that happen. Spent forever in the bank. Er.... at the bank, rather. George wanted to go inside, but the loby was closed, and the drive thru took forever, because the two cars in front of us had deposit bags.

We went yesterday, because we needed to deposit a check. We don't go very often, maybe a couple times a year. And, when we did that's when my husband found out the loby was closed. He had hoped to see a friend of ours, that works at that branch. He wasn't here yesterday. So, it worked out.@ElicBxn

@kaylachan It may be that by closing the lobby they are also working with decreased staff...

Thanks for the link. I didn't know what a finger-longer is. It can be quite helpful. Good that you still have a reacher and able to catch the pharmacist's attention.

Yeah, I have a lot reachers, I mean, I have one that lives in the car! I have one in my bedroom, one in the kitchen, two in the front room, one by my desk and the other to pick up cans I throw at the can "can" and then the wife has two in her room, one by her bed and one over by her little kitchen.
