In Cleveland Ohio in January the houses are surrounded by snow.

There are at least 5 feet snow around the houses in Cleveland Ohio USA in January. there are salt machines required to melt them. It goes on snowing for the next 3 month. As Lake Erie is close to the place there is serious lake effect. But the snow looks very beautiful once the sun comes out.

Yes many places in the Western world especially in US and Canada get a thick blanket of snow and get up to -20 to -30 C temperatures + wind chill effects.
Regular snow clearing is required there.

I am disappointed at the way India has lost the ODI series vs South Africa 0-2.
Drastic changes needed in the way India plays ODIs. Some rigidity also needs to go.

I have always thought snow can look very nice as long as you don't get stuck in it, It looks dazzling in sunlight,

I have seen the snow on rare occasion in south Louisiana which is a very nice sight to see during the daylight hours.
