An 80 year old widow who lives in Fulton County who had money trouble to pay her bills since county officials took away her homestead exemption and senior discounts which made it hard for her to pay her property taxes who goes by the name Ms. Callaway received help from a family friend started an online fundraiser so donations from strangers would assist her to play her bills to keep her home. When the word got out to assist Ms. Calloway, more than 250 strangers donated more than $17,000 dollars to pay off her debts and clear her liens. The good news is that Ms. Calloway's homestead exemptions have been restored and the additional money she has in her bank account will pay for home repairs that are needed. Ms. Calloway paid $20 dollars in 2014 before the homestead exemptions were taken away to over $2,780 dollars which she could not pay since she lives on Social Security benefits.
