Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. I came across this wonderful quote which is so true in life. We seldom appreciate the importance of being silent sometimes in life as we are busy in fast paced life and have to talk, communicate and share so much with other people be it physically or online. By being silent, our mind is able to grow, get more wisdom in life by learning new things, exploring different places or just simply by reading too. We all can try to take out some time and appreciate silence, turn our minds off and just try to enjoy life by looking at nature, learning something new everyday etc. Share your thoughts about it. Have a good day. Take care!!!

I wish I could enjoy silence but at the moment my Mum is snoring and the television is blaring! I don't know how I'm going to get any peace and quiet!

Very true. We are able to think clearly and make wise decision when silent. When we talk more we end up saying things that prove we were not thinking

That's true. I hope during this pandemic, many people found time to sit, relax, be silent and meditate for their mental and spiritual health. There's gold in silence. so everyone needs it regularly. Being silent is like a self-reflection. An unreflected life is a life without genuine meaning.

Yes in times of pandemic, wherein sometimes we feel stressed, silence gives us ultimate peace of mind

I think my unconscious mind HATES silence, because it never lets me have it! Sometimes it does, but not when I'm 'listening for it' ... when it gives me TINNITUS.

Oh ok dear. Some people aren't able to silent their minds. Try meditating if it helps
