Watched the 73rd Republic Day Parade!! It was splendid!!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. Today is 26th January, thereby it's India's 73rd Republic Day today. The constitution of India was formed on 26th January, 1950, thereby this day is celebrated every year with great fanfare. Today in the morning, we watched the Republic Day Parade from 10:30 am till 12:30pm. It took place in Rajpath in Delhi. Today for the first time in history, the event started half an hour later due to poor visibility due to fog. This time, due to Covid, there were strict restrictions as the common people who have been vaccinated were only allowed and they had to show vaccine certificate at the entry. People were wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. The army, navy and airforce did various splendid performances. The people from army and navy including many female officers performed amazing bike stunts. The airforce showcased it's new Rafale Aircraft thereby showing amazing Air Shows. The police personnel also carried out March passing. The sinchronisation and organisation of doing it was a sight to behold. The different cultural dance programs took place wearing different traditional costumes from different states. The Colourful chariots having different themes like Textiles, Education Policy etc were showcased by people from different states. In the finale of the event, after the splendid Air Show. The prime minister of India Mr Narendra Modi walked the Rajpath for a particular stretch in order to wave at common people who had come to watch the event. He was surrounded by a barrage of bodyguards protecting him. After that the president of India first exited the place in the car and then the prime minister was next to exit the place. The parade is such a big and important event that every year, the rehearsals are done months before the actual event. We enjoyed watching it a lot on TV. I wonder what it would be like watching it live. I hope to get opportunity in future someday to watch it live as it would feel mesmerizing. I thought to share it here with you guys.
