Friday Night Lights: SEC Gymnastics

We started out watching the LSU gymnastics meet tonight at 6 pm. They were competing in Georgia against the Georgia bulldogs.
The meet was a good one and the LSU Tigers came out on top.
The Florida vs. Arkansas meet came on right after the LSU-Georgia meet and that was a great meet to watch. The Florida team is totally amazing this year and won the meet easily over Arkansas with a final score in the 198's. This team is packed with talent and an amazing Freshman class. I can't wait to see how this team does in the next three years. I think they will have at least one and possibly more national championships under their belt.

I have been a gymnastics fans since 1972 when I saw former Soviet Union gymnast Olga Korbut compete in the Summer Olympic Games. I love women's gymnastics since the media like to lampoon the American gymnastics stars for whatever reason.

@kareng The Tigers under the leadership of D D Breaux are in contention to win the NCAA title in the last few years.

@Deepizzaguy I really felt sorry for her. I think the only reason she kept on coaching was to hopefully win the Championship. Jay Clark is a very good coach though and I think he has a good chance of getting it done! Don't get me wrong, I loved DD to the moon and back. She was a great coach and human being! We got to know her well with my oldest tin the Bengal gymnastics feeder program years ago.

@LindaOHio You are welcome!! We actually caught Missouri and Kentucky meet today on SEC network just by chance. Hubby was scrolling through channels, which drives me crazy!
