When counting sheeps don't work

For the past nights I have trouble sleeping.
I badly needed to sleep early so I could wake up energize and early the next day.
I put myself to sleep at 9 in the evening, but it seems my brain can't seem to stop thinking. 10 came, 11 came, midnight came and nothing happened. It is just me, closing my eyes, in a prone position.
I have tried drinking my milk, taken a shower, read a book etc. It is really hard to beat my body clock, so I need to train myself a new one.
I hope I will be able to sleep now, I hope it should be in a little while.
Update: Its 5:40 in the morning of February 19 2022.
Another episode of sleepiness and tiredness but I am having trouble of getting some sleep. I need to have a restful sleep but morning is here already and I haven't got the chance.

I hope that you were able to get some sleep. There are times when I have trouble getting to sleep, too.

. You can try praying. It helps me to go to sleep. Hope you had enough sleep. Take care
