Happy Chinese New Year to all friends who celebrate it. May you be more blessed. Today in my country is a holiday, because of the celebration of the Lunar New Year. Usually during Chinese New Year celebrations, we always get basket cakes from neighbors who are of Chinese descent. And often also given mandarin oranges. Is there a Chinese New Year celebration in your area? Image is mine

Indonesia is really a free country that can allow Chinese to celebrate their Spring Festival. In Chinese School, most of teachers forbid students from celebrating Xmas Day.They called it "The invasion of Western Culture".If you praise the Xmas Day,they'll say you're the Western Dog or Walking 5 Million RMB(It means "The Western Spy",when you report those spies, you can get 5 Million RMB) After all,i'm really touching and thankful to the toleration and open of Indonesians.Chinese Spring Festival is the most important day to Chinese,it means the begin of a new year.People will buy fruits, candies, cakes and vegetables to celebrate.Surely, the most important food is fish.It means"Every year you'll be Rich[Fish]"(Nian Nian You Yu,in Chinese, they're homophone) In the end,i wish everyone could have a beautiful and great year, everything you dream can true, and the panic to the virus will be over soon.

@choijungeun Yes I agree with you. All of us who live in this world should be able to live in peace and respect each other. Because our life in this world is only temporary. So it's a shame if we all waste our time on things that are not good.

Happy Chinese New Year to you too. In Indonesia, it consists of various tribes and nations. Various kinds of customs, and consists of several religions as well. And we all live in harmony and peace, and respect each other. Our national motto is "Bhineka Tunggal Ika", which means, Even though we are different, we are still united.

Our country recognizes the presence of our Chinese community after all they are also part of this nation. Before we were colonized by the. Spaniards and Americans we already have an existing Chinese community and most Filipinos are of Chinese descent. It's actually a holiday here but in our family we don't celebrate much except just picking some traditions like wearing red.
