Today would've been my father's 101st birthday. Dad has been gone a long time, but 38 years sometimes isn't long enough to ease the pain. I'm now older than Dad was when he died. Does it make it easier? No. Do you have a parent you lost? Do you remember their birthday?

I'm also older than my father ever got to be. Of course I remember his birthday, it was two days after mine... I was his birthday present My mother and her mother had their birthdays within 5 days of each other, too.

The wife's younger brother, now among the worms, fathered 4 children. The last 3 were born within 2 days of each other at the end of March.

@BarBaraPrz well, the last kid was with a different mother... one thing I've got to say about him, he had lousy taste in women on the whole, or maybe just the ones who married him

I do remember my late dad would have been 101 years on 1-9. My late mom would have been 100 years of age on 7-10.

I told my wife last year when my Dad would've been 100. Mom would've been... oh, 90 something, too tired to think...
