They labeled poor Jane. From the day she was born. The label would decide what kind of life she would live, who her friends would be, and even where she would work. Is all you are, all that we see? Are you happy with your label? Did you try on another, to see if it fit? Labels are just a small part of a person. Not even a large piece of them, more like an idea, really. Hi, I am Madara Greer, a wife, and a Mother but those are just two of my labels. If I just went along with my wife and mother, I could lose my identity forever. I’m also a fan of hockey (go Blues) and an avid hiker. I Love native Indigenous Americans and their artwork. I wish more people would quit hiding behind labels. Labels or tags are only good for Google. The rest of us have many more things to identify us. Take, for instance, a Republican. Seriously, take them all if you want them. Not kidding, just kidding. When they’re in an office, they have nothing good to say about their opponent, the Democrat. But if these two met somewhere else, they may see they have more things in common than disliking the other. Why do we need one identifying label? Do you want that to be all that people ever see or know about you? Male or female is still in the workings. One day people will open up their brains and wonder why Janes has to be in the kitchen and Tom in the shed. Jane is just as well with her hands and Tom loves to eat. There you go. We can say the same about race. Are you black? Are you white? It doesn’t. matter. Be proud you are a human being and start your list to make the Earth more greener. There are bigger fish to fry out here in the hard and unfriendly world. Don’t give some other jerk an excuse to hate on all people left-handed with a cat they call a dog and a side ponytail and drive a Mo-ped. With that ponytail, they have enough things to keep them worrying and stressed out all the time. Imagine a world where everyone was as equal to everyone else. It would be beautiful. We will have more peace as soon as everyone realizes no one is better or worse than they are. We will hold more people accountable for their actions. You won’t be able to blame the foreigner for losing your job. Or stealing your spouse or just making you feel you are a lesser human. You’ll find that you are not working because you’re lazy and the spouse you lost is tired of cleaning up after you.

Yet... as much changes so much stays the same. I doubt labels will ever go away, completely. They do hold importance in the human race after all. As people want to be widly reconized for their color, race, accomplishments. Yet, we use it poorly.
