I was talking with a cousin on my Dad's side about my Dad's Dad who passed this morning and about where he came from, my Dad's Father served in the Navy from 1946-1970, he died shortly after I graduated from Highschool! But after the conversation I felt this song on a whole new level.

My Dad's Dad was a coal miner. He worked down the pit. I have his old miners lamps now on our hearth. One is the one he actually used down the pit, and the other one is the one he was given as a retirement present when he retired. I will never get rid of either of them.

Passed away, my Mons Dad was in my life for almost one years, he passed away a couple of months before mntj birthday...
