Bummer...

I just came back from giving Angel a walk, and sat down at the computer when there was a knock at the door.
When I went to answer it, it was my ex-coworker, whose daughter (who attended the preschool the ex-coworker and I worked at when she was 4 or 5) lives in the next building.
She'd come to let me know that the daughter, her husband, and two cute little boys (daughter was in the hospital having the second little boy back when I moved in) were going to be moving.
Such a bummer--I'm going to miss seeing them--not to mention my ex-co-worker, who comes over to babysit her grandsons while her daughter's at work.
I hope that whoever winds up moving in there are friendly, and have young children or at least nice dogs for Angel to say hello to.

That's the thing with apartments, people rarely stay long. The longest my husband and I stayed at a place, was five years. Hard to believe, we're starting our sixth year at this house and see it as our forever home.

I probably will be, too. Until my brother needs to put me in an old folk's home, but I don't expect that for at least 15 years.

@xstitcher I have no idea where I’ll go from here if I ever go anywhere.
