Brown rice (organic rice), very good for health.

Do you often consume brown rice (organic rice), organic vegetables, organic meat, and foods made from other organic ingredients? Yesterday, yesterday I ate with brown rice (organic rice). Brown rice is healthier than white rice, or regular rice. But for me personally, the taste of white rice is better than this brown rice. Image is mine.

Yes it's good to eat organic foods but it's expensive here. We have brown rice occassionally as prefer white rice more. Take care

I am a diabetic and I go for brown/ red/ black rice over white ones. But I do have white ones occasionally as they do taste better in certain dishes. I prefer to buy most of my grocery from organic store.

Yes, agree with you. Brown rice, or organic rice is very good for diabetics to consume. My mother also has diabetes, and my mother often eats this brown rice or organic rice.

@sinari White rice spikes my sugar. So, I would not pick it up unless I have no other option or when I really need to enjoy special recipes with white rice.

@arunima25 Yes, you are absolutely right. White rice contains a lot of sugar, so it is not good for diabetics to eat. But eating it occasionally in small portions I think is not too problematic.

@sinari me too. I eat white rice. Although if I eat brown rice again, I'll find a way to cook it and make it sweet. Perhaps adding some natural spices will help.

@mildredtabitha I think, although this brown rice tastes bland, it is not as tasty as white rice, but if this brown rice is eaten with fish, vegetables or meat, it will taste good too.

I a gree with you. Brown rice is healthy to eat, but it tastes a bit bland and doesn't taste as savory as white rice. That's why I rarely eat with this brown rice menu. I eat more often with white rice.

I agree with you. Perhaps next time you can add little portion of brown rice into the regular rice and cook together. It will be both healthier and tasteful

Good idea. I think it can also be tried, so it will taste better and not bland. Thanks for the great idea.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Brown rice contains more fiber than white rice. And it's healthier to eat too. But white rice tastes better. Maybe because it contains more sugar content.

Yes, you are absolutely right. Indeed, the taste of white rice is more savory and more delicious. Usually brown rice is consumed a lot when on a diet.

We eat brown rice often, more than white rice. We produce in our farm many fruits and vegetables that are organic and when I can I buy organic too but it is expensive.

You are absolutely right. Still white rice tastes better. Brown rice is indeed good for people who are on a diet program, or people with diabetes, because the sugar content is quite low compared to the sugar content in white rice.

I wish I could buy more organic foods. They are so expensive. In some instances it's almost cheaper to do fast food! Here in my town a bucket of chicken is 7.00. I'm talking about fried chicken, not a whole cut up chicken. If I was to buy the whole chicken it would be about 5.00, then the breading to coat it in, the oil to fry it in, the seasoning to make it taste better and then the 30 to 45 minutes of prep time and cook time. I'd rather give the extra 2.00 and not have to deal with all that.

Yes I understand. From your explanation, I can guess that you don't like troublesome things. You like simple things. That's why you prefer to add another $2, so you can enjoy the fried chicken without the hassle of cooking it. I think everyone has their own way of enjoying their food.
