I just ran across an article where a woman was riding a train and her seat partner seemed familiar and she thought he was a local DJ for Radio 1.
She was too embarrassed to actually ask him so she messaged her daughter and told her she thought that's who was sitting with her.
Daughter wasn't shy, she tweeted the DJ: "My mum think she's sat next to you on a train from Edinburgh right now so if you could confirm that would be amazing. Her name is Jane and she's just had a white wine and says you are on red."
The DJ tweeted the picture above with the caption, "Hello Jane."
I love it when celebrities types behave!

I think it's just a cool thing to take a pic with someone that EVERYONE knows. I bet it gets old and tiring for the celebrity though.
