Day 247
Isaiah 33:2 O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for You. Be our arm every morning. Our salvation also in the time of trouble.
Trouble waits, lurking around every corner, ready to pounce on the unsuspecting.
In the midst of God’s prophecy to the nations who defied Him, Isaiah asked for God’s grace in times of trouble. He told God His people waited for Him. Isaiah wanted God to be their arm and salvation.
As Christians, Satan waits for you to forget to pray; for your walls of protection to come down. Then complacency can fill your life. Satan can bring trouble to you and your family.
You cannot let your guard down. You need to pray without ceasing. Remind God you wait for Him to help in troubled times. God is your salvation, your strength. Let God know you depend on His grace. Then Satan cannot come against you. He cannot trouble you because you stand on God’s Word to strengthen you.
What problems face you right now? Pray. Put up your walls of protection. Then Satan will flee because God is for you. He cannot stand against you.
Let’s pray: Father, build up my walls of protection as I wait on You. Help me give Satan no cause to come against me because Your grace and mercy protect me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
