Do you have hypertension or high blood pressure? If so, what are the medications you are taking? And does it help? Are there any suggestions that you can advise other than taking in medications?

Hi, I just read an article this morning about a natural method to reduce high blood pressure. Hope it helps you. A good article talking about a natural way of reducing your blood pressure through something that we all knew when we were born - Breathing. The best thing is that breathing is free'. You can do a short breathing exercise everyday to help yourelf to reduce high blood pressure and not only that, through this breathing exercise, you can help yourself to relax too. For people with high blood pressure, eating healthy foods that are low in sodium and getting plenty of moderate exercise are the best ways to reduce it naturally. Medication is usually necessary, too, as prescribed by a doctor. But there’s something else you can do, too, that will decrease your hypertension and help your overall health. It’s something you do constantly, but that you’re probably not doing properly. Read the full post at: http://informationalnetwork.blogspot.com/2006/12/hypertension-learning-to-breath-again.html

Thanks symphonyoflove. I'll to do just that - breathing exercises. As you say it's free and it's something that we can do even at work or during our rest time. Thanks.

I am hypertensive since college, my doctor advise to me to make a diet, avoid eating fats, oily and salty food. They prescribed me some medicine like capoten, vastarel and many others. But some reason still i have it this high blood pressure. Now i ate oatmeal and banana every morning and some garlic, it seems so effecive it lessen my blood pressure to get high. My suggestion to you is to take garlic heres the preparation: The garlic may be fried, roasted soaked in vinegar for 30 minutes, or blanched in boiled water for 5 minutes. Take 2 pieces three times a day after meals.
