Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. My brother had gone on an office work trip to Jaipur last Monday.
He came home after a week staying there. Jaipur in Rajasthan State is very famous for local street food. Snacks like Onion Kachori is a nice stuffed spicy snack. It's very famous for traditional local sweets too.
My brother has brought Onion Kachoris which are stuffed with onions, potatoes, Jeera and spices. It's outer layer is very crispy. We are shallow frying it and enjoying it. It's very yummy.
Some traditional local sweets he brought is Mawa Kachoris which are sweet, Milk Ladoos, Rose Ladoos. Apart from it, the very popular traditional sweet is Ghevar.
They have it of 3 types. One is the plain sweet one. Another is Malai i.e. Cream layered on Ghevar along with sprinkling of Dryfruits. The last one is Rabdi Ghevar, made of thick milk cream topped on Ghevar.
My brother has brought Malai Ghevar. We tasted it at night after dinner today and it was so delicious. Words aren't enough to describe the feeling when it just melts in mouth.
I thought to share it here. Hope you had a good day. Take care!!!
