Yesterday I shopped for my family's monthly needs at the supermarket in my city. Then I saw the vegetable counter and fruit counter.
I happened to see this Chinese mushroom. Because the shape is long and unique, so I was interested in buying it.
but i have never cooked chinese mushrooms and ate them. So I'm confused about how to cook it.
Have you ever cooked and eaten this Chinese mushroom? and how does it feel?

No, I have never cooked and eaten Chinese mushrooms. They look strange, they look like nails!
Did you buy them eventually?
If so, do let us know how you get on with them. Thanks.

@sinari I see. If you do buy them, let me know how you get on, and let me know how they taste. Sauteing it with shrimp sounds nice.

@sharonelton Ok. Later when I buy and cook it I will post it here. So you can see it. Hopefully I can see it again in the super market. Because Chinese mushrooms are not always on sale, aka rare. LoL

I've never cooked Chinese mushrooms. I imagine you can saute them in some butter.

Me too. Got adventurous, so bought a package to add to my stewed vegetables. If it has roots, cut it off. Wash it, I pull it apart clean it good, check it, add to cooking - taste test, enjoy. Mushrooms, no flavor, but good for health. It'll take flavor of food you're cooking with. White Hon Shimeji mushrooms.
I found this site with more information:
