My daughter talked to my ex daughter-in-law and it is arranged that my grandkids can come over for me to babysit and she will pay me a lower amount but she came up with the other things that I have to do also.
She was already paying me too little before!
But it is only temporary because they will be going to school starting next month, at least the youngest one will be. The older one may have to wait till September. We'll see.

I'm glad you'll at least be seeing them. Though a lower payment with added rules is weird.
I'd never pay my mom to "babysit". As she'd not take it from me even if she needed it, and she'd say it's not babysitting - it's spending time and making memories with her grandbabies while she gets the chance to. But i know not all families are the same.

I would not accept a lower payment, especially with added duties.
