A Much Better Day

If you read my post yesterday, you know it was a rough one for me. To top it off, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, whom I follow on Twitter, posted a very ugly comment about teachers who can't motivate every student sucking at their jobs. Coming from someone I admire and respect, this hit hard. Well, I hit back hard and called him out on it. So did about 500 other teachers.
Today was a much better day. The kids were great. No condescending emails from parents or tutors. And, at the end of the day, a parent whose daughter I taught two years ago sought assurance that I would still be around next year to teach his younger girl when she reaches 4th grade.
Now, all I have to do is make it through tomorrow and then hook up the camper and head for the beach.
I hope your day went, is going, or goes well.
OH, and Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all my Irish and honorary Irish friends.

Glad today was better. Real parents are searching you wanting you there. They are the ones that matter.

I've always like the phrase, "luck of the Irish".

I am glad your day was much better today. Happy St. Pat's Day...although actually it would be more correctly called the day after St. Pats Day. Beach sounds like fun, it is going to be a warm weekend, especially Saturday.

Happy Saint Patrick's to you. Not something that we commemorate nor celebrate.
Friday here and it's a holiday in this part of the country I'm in. So as soon as my son arrives home (he went cycling), we will go somewhere we both enjoy spending our time, Bike shop.
