I do not agree with abortion i do not think it is A good thing. But i will now push my opinion on anyone.. I think need to make their own opinion whether it be good or bad..
In my opinion I consider it like murder.. But thats me..

I still feel that abortion is not a right idea.... I feel that a child is a gift given by god... so we dont have the right to destroy it....
I have seen couples who pray to God to bless them with children.... If such cases are still there then why abort a child given as a gift by god.....
I also feel that it is not the right thing that we do to a fellow human being (child)

Abortion is neither good nor bad in itself, it is the circumstances that make it good or bad.
If a womam will be permanently injured or killed by going through with a pregnancy or the "baby" is so badly deformed that it is impossible for it to survive, abortion is good.
If someone just can't make up their mind and decides in the third trimester they don't want the baby or they keep getting pregnant and having abortions instead of using birth control that would be bad.

I am a firm believer that abortion is sometimes a necessary thing and we should have the righth to choose....I've had an abortion and it was definately a necessary thing do for the well being of myself and my family (husband, kids)...I also know that if I'd gotten pregnant from rape I would have aborted as well...dealing with rape is hard enough as it is without having to worry about carrying your attackers child and i can say without a shadow of a doubt that if any of those pigs had got me pregnant I would have run to the clinic to take care of it...I would also not hesitate to abort if my life were in danger from the pregnancy...I have two living children and they take first seat. They've already lost their father and baby brother so I wouldnt take the chance on them losing me too, not for something like that....HOWEVER when abortion is used as a repeated means of birth control I think its wrong

It's disgusting that some extreme pro-lifers continue to use photos that are clearly FAKE to promote their cause. If you truly feel terminating is wrong, why can't you stick to facts & your feelings to support your opinions?
For those who can't see the photo clearly- it's showing a "baby" smaller than the palm of a hand. The "baby's" body is covered in burns suggesting a late term saline termination, yet it's face is unblemished & it has a full head of hair. And again, it's the size of the palm of someone's hand. A pregnancy that is smaller than the palm of your hand is under 12 weeks. A pregnancy under 12 weeks bears little, if any characteristics of a "baby". Hair for example is one of the last things to grow during the final trimester of pregnancy.
A late term saline abortion would show pretty much a fetus around the same size as a newborn baby. 4-7lbs and say 16-19"s long depending on how late the termination was- I don't know of any humans with hands that large. And yes, late term abortions are a very upsetting subject for just about everyone. But let's remember: 1) Late term abortions are rare and 2) Late term abortions are usually done when the woman's life is in danger or the fetus has been shown to be severely medically compromised.

Me too. I would guess though that this is a cut & pasted job rather than a newborn. The baby doesn't quite look to term, so it could have been a stillborn- paintshopped over to look like a termination and then cropped into a photo of a hand. It's repulsive the lengths some people will go to to support their side.

I've got mixed feelings on this topic...
If a girl is raped and becomes pregnate, then i think that she has a right to abortion if she feels that it is neccessary. Becuase she has a live to live and such a set-back could place her into a lifestyle that will be un healthy for a child to live in. As well, I find that many girls will not have an abortion becusae they feel like less of a person, on top of the fact that they had been raped. Society has labeled abortion as murder so a girl who wants to lead a respectable life can't have an abortion without feeling guilty.
On the other hand, I think that options such as adoption are a better path. A fetus is still a person in my opinion..poeple will argue this but..A fetus will enevtually become a living baby, and as I seeit, what will become..already is. So I think abortion can be avioded in that sense.
I think abortion can be a patchy subject but those are my opinions.

I am very much pro-choice. No woman should be forced to make such a huge & life altering commitment against her wishes. I don't think anyone has the right to impose their religion's beliefs or their moral beliefs on another's body. If you are "pro-life", no one is suggesting that you must ever have a termination so why do you have the right to insist someone else can not?
Further, as a parent I think every child deserves to be born into a family that loves, cherishes & wants him or her. Children are far too precious to be some form of punishment for failed birth control or poor decision making as some pro-lifers have suggested.

i don't agree with abortion. I think that every child has a right to live even though his parents are not ready to have him in this world. If the parenst would really not be ready to face their responsibility with this child, they should just put him for adoption. there are a lot of parents out there who are waiting for a long time to bear a child but unfortunately, they are unsuccessful. although this is just my opinion, everyone is entitled to have their own.

In my own personal opinion, an abortion should only be considered if it is truly going to endanger the life of the woman carrying the child. And then only after you get about 4 or so different opinions agreeing on this issue. I feel Abortion is Murder in any other circumstance than this.
