Normally I’ve been posting the Shel Silverstein song before the lucky song, but today’s the “big song” in Silverstein land….so I thought the song with “luck” in the title should come first. Yeah, it’s that big a shock if you don’t know it. So here’s our opening act today. #4: You Got Lucky - Tom Petty & the Hearbreakers I supposed some had this one tagged as showing up, and I certainly wouldn’t disappoint when it comes to Tom Petty. I saw them on this tour in 1982, and I got to meet Tom ever so briefly (“Hi, Tom.” “Hey.” That’s it.) after the show. Fine song. Great concert. Good album. Fantastic performer. Yeah, I know he had retired (at least from touring) when he died, but I do miss him.
