Russell Wilson to Denver

Sparta, Tennessee

Nobody actually thought that Russell Wilson would ever leave Seattle. No matter what differences they had he would always be their QB until he retired. Like Roethlisberger or Rodgers. When they announced the trade to Denver I didn't think Wilson would agree to it. We knew he was unhappy there but I thought that this would be the year they focused on protecting him in the pocket and maybe adding a few weapons for him. Guess that flew out the window. He did accept the trade to Denver and in return Denver lost a lot. I don't think he's actually going to a better situation. In fact he may actually be going into a worse one. What do you think? Can he lift Denver up, even just a little? *picture from google

He went to a pretty tough division, although the one he was in certainly wasn't easy either. I was pretty shocked when the trade happened.

I just never thought that he would leave. It's kind of the same shock as when we learned Brady wasn't going to play for New England anymore. It's just an insane thought until it actually happens then you're in denial for a long time lol

I'm not really into football, especially American football.

I live for it. I haven't posted on it as much as usual because I've been busy and I play catch more often than not now but I still keep track of everything

I don't follow the NFL anymore, but I remember when Wilson played for NC State. The day of players staying with one team for their whole career seems to be a thing of the long past. When Brady left New England, I was shocked.

I don't watch college so I don't know where they played lol. Staying with one team is a thing of the past. It went out with the Brady/Rodgers era.
