Are chores assigned to children in your family?

When I was growing up chores were assigned to us kids. Now my child is 2 so he is not big enough to have chores assigned to him but I do make him pick up his toys and he "helps" me with the chores I do.

yes, our mom assigned each child a chore, and it's very helpful now that we are all grown up,

We do have some chores for our kids, mostly just respectfull things like cleaning their room daily, or picking up their coats/shoes things of that nature. Our oldest son does a little extra ie helps take out the garbage and empties the dishwasher. I think it's important for them to have the responsibilty these days there are way too many lazy kids in the world.

Yea my kids have chores to do...they have to round up and take out the garbage (and down to the curb on pick up day then bring the cans back up after school), feed all the animals, pick up after themselves, keep their tv room clean, bring their laundry down 3 times a week and sometimes they help with the laundry, dishwasher and cooking...
