That was nice...

I was heading home from work, and got a little ways down the main street when from behind me I heard a voice calling.
I turned around, and there was a lady leaning out her car window holding out a bottle of water. She said, "Mucho calor" (it was very hot) and offered me the water. She asked if I spoke Spanish, and I was able to tell her "Un poquito" (a little).
I figured out that she was asking how far I had to go, and I tried to tell her in my broken Spanish that I lived at the Addison Ranch apartment complex.
I forget what else was said, but I thanked her (in Spanish) for the water, and we went our separate ways.
I thought that was really nice of a lady I did not know.

I am happy for you that the lady who had a chat with offered you a bottle of water on a hot day.

Sometimes, you see a good Samaritan doing something nice and that just makes your day.
