Hello, i had a friend who has got the diagnosis Borderline personality disorder. Our realationship has been very intesed and with much affects and fights. Sometimes she is like an angel. She looks so happy and is the best friend on this word but another day she can become a devil. She think that all this world are here to make her day black, and that people are evil. How important is limits? Sometimes when she spit out anger on me i just hang up the phone and dont answer, but I feel like an evil person. It is very difficult to love someone with this disorder. I know because I was diagnosed with it in 2002. There are a lot of confusing contradictions with this disorder. They may even seem a little silly or like a play on words, but they reveal a lot. The first one to me is perhaps the most important, that is: The one thing that we need the most is the one thing that we are most afraid of and that is love. Sometimes, when we feel that a relationship is going to great, we do something to sabotage it, because we see trouble as inevitable and if we are the ones that initiate it, then we are the ones who can control it. But as soon as we start the fight, we quickly remeber how much we need the person that we have pushed away, so we try desparately to get them to forgive us for the damage we have done. Though most of it is hard to forgive, at best.
