Do you think it's wise to spend so much on going into space, when there are hungry and neglected children right here

I agree with you. To me, I think it really stupid to spend that much money just to go to spece for few days. I wish those people just donate thoes money to help out for people who are suffering from hunger, children who need help and in medical field.

space is the final frontier we have to explore it less than 1% is explored we have to find the truth behind the purpose of life so we must explore the universe

Every country makes a budget: how much to spend on what. Similarly advanced nations to keep up the progress in the field of science and technology, they have to spend huge sums on Research and Development. Expedition to Moon is one such.
