Yup, its no joke... 100 years "The movie you will never see" Not coming soon on any theaters near you The one of a kind release date is on November 2115. The movie was filmed in 2015 starring John Malkovich and Shuya Chang directed by Robert Rodriguez. 100 years as it is aptly titled is an experimental science fiction film which is inspired and is a promotion for the Louis XIII cognac which takes 100 years to age before it can be sold to customers. The creators made three teasers which showcase three different futures - a retro future imagined in the 40's 50's version, an incredibly high tech beyond computerized version of the world and a dystopian semi-collapsed back to nature civilization version. I watched the teasers hoping for a glimpse of the plot but it looks unrelated to the actual movie and looks more like a short promotional film for the luxurious cognac. The film is currently secured in a state of the art, custom made time lock safe that won't open again till November 18, 2115. I guess no one among us will get to see this film less we live to more than a 100 lol. Here's one of the teasers, in case you're interested to see.

That's too long of a wait for anyone living currently to be there. Even kids born recently might not be there.

Guess it would only be for the descendants of anyone related to the making of this film and for the presently living in that year. No one from the past would ever get to see it. Even the actors of this film will not be around by that time. What an insane project is all I can say that makes it all the more special.

@pitsipeahie Hmm...they will not be there to know how it actually turned out to be and how the audience at that point in time would take this movie. It might be well accepted or rejected. But definitely it would be a film of interest as it would be something made 109 years ago.

I've never heard of this. It does sound like a joke. Even though I hope to live to one hundred I doubt that will be on my what to watch list.

@pitsipeahie I saw the teaser and it really is a teaser and I understand what you are saying that most of us may not be around to watch it.

@pitsipeahie I think this film would not spark much interest among us , rather it would be a treasure trove for the generations far in the future.
